Neymar's wage demands could reportedly see the Paris Saint-Germain attacker price himself out of a switch to either Real Madrid or Barcelona in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
Madrid and Barca continue to be linked with moves for the 27-year-old, who has seemingly played his last game for PSG.
According to AS, Neymar is demanding €35m (£32m) per season to move to Spain, while the Brazil international is also looking for a five-year contract.
Barca are said to be preparing a third and potentially final bid for the South American, which will include a cash sum in addition to French attacker Ousmane Dembele.
PSG are believed to be open to the idea of the former Santos youngster leaving on loan for the 2019-20 campaign, although the French champions would want a future purchase price of £228m.
Neymar has scored 51 times in 58 appearances for his current club in all competitions, although the attacker has not turned out for Thomas Tuchel's side this season amid the speculation surrounding his future.
