Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Kylian Mbappe a contract worth up to £1m a week in a bid to keep hold of the France international on a long-term basis.
The 23-year-old's current deal with the capital giants is due to expire at the end of June, and he continues to be strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Speaking after scoring against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Mbappe insisted that he had not yet made any decision on his future.
According to The Independent, PSG have now offered the attacker a deal worth up to £1m a week, which would make him comfortably the highest-paid footballer in world football.
The report claims that a meeting between the French outfit and Mbappe's representatives was held on Wednesday, and the club attempted to put the player off a switch to Los Blancos by pointing out the Spanish team's issues on the field.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said after Tuesday's Champions League contest that the Frenchman is currently "the best player in European football".
The attacker has again been in impressive form at club level this season, scoring 22 goals and registering 16 assists in 32 appearances in all competitions. body check tags ::
