Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a two-year extension to his current deal.
The Portuguese, who has been strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks, has a contract at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2018.
Despite hitting 47 goals in 44 appearances for Real Madrid this season, it has been claimed that Los Blancos would be prepared to part with the 31-year-old this summer as they build for the future.
However, according to El Confidencial, club president Florentino Perez is desperate for the attacker to remain in Madrid and will sanction an offer of a new contract until 2020.
Ronaldo, who has 360 goals in 344 appearances for Real Madrid, has also been linked with a return to former club Manchester United, where he spent six seasons between 2003 and 2009.
