Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane has suggested that he will talk to rising AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe about a potential move to the Liga giants.
Los Blancos are thought to be one of Mbappe's main suitors during the close season, as a number of European clubs appear to be monitoring the French youngster who scored 15 goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco's title-winning side this season.
Given that both Varane and Mbappe are able to call France home, the Madrid centre-back is hopeful that he will get the chance to discuss future plans with his fellow countryman.
"Mbappe is a very good youngster with a huge potential. It would be a pleasure to see him here," Varane told Telefoot.
"In addition to that he is French, so he would be welcome. We will surely get the chance to discuss this."
Varane also scored six goals during Monaco's remarkable run to the semi-finals of the Champions League this term.
