Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has insisted that he has no plans to leave the Spanish giants in the summer, despite speculation linking him with a move away.
He also said that goalkeeper Iker Casillas is happy to stay and fight for his place with Diego Lopez.
"Of course I'll be here next season," Marca quotes Alonso as saying.
"Iker suddenly finds himself on the bench, but this is football. It is a team sport. Diego is doing doing a superb job and is keeping out Iker; there is no need to create controversy."
Alonso joined Real from Liverpool in 2009.
