Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to be drawn on suggestions that the Spanish giants could move for either Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen or Ajax's Donny van de Beek in January.
Both Eriksen and Van de Beek were linked with moves to the Bernabeu during the summer, but the pair ultimately remained with Tottenham and Ajax respectively.
There have been suggestions that Los Blancos could reignite their interest at the start of 2020 after struggling for midfield inspiration in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign.
Zidane, however, remained coy when questioned on the reported interest, insisting that it is "a matter for the club".
"Eriksen or Van de Beek? That is a matter for the club," Zidane told reporters. "The team is what it is. We are the ones that are here and we will compete with what we have."
Madrid, who lost 3-0 at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last week, will travel to Sevilla on Sunday night knowing that a win would see them top the table ahead of Week Six in Spain's top flight.
