Quincy Amarikwa scored a late equaliser for Chicago Fire to earn them a point in their MLS clash with Real Salt Lake tonight.
The hosts started brightly and could have been ahead early on when Ned Grabavoy back-heeled the ball into the path of Kyle Beckerman in the box but his effort was well saved by Sean Johnson.
Johnson was in the action again moments later as he did well to palm Joao Plata's long-range effort away from goal.
After the break, Chris Wingert became the latest Salt Lake player to be denied by Johnson as his powerful effort from inside the box was turned away past the post, after Wingert was teed up by Luis Gil.
When Real finally beat Johnson, they were denied by the crossbar as Javier Morales's free kick from just outside the area beat the outstretched hand of Johnson, smacked the bar and was cleared.
However, Salt Lake finally got their goal when Grabavoy lifted a cross into the area from the left, which was met in the area by Alvaro Saborio, who headed the ball into the top corner.
Chicago were level within minutes as Amarikwa pounced from close range, firing a volley into the net after Austin Berry had done well to flick Jalil Anababa's throw-in into his path, to earn the Fire a point.
