Ian Henderson secured a well-earned point for Rochdale in League One on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Bristol City.
Despite a bright start from Rochdale it was Bristol who struck first to take the lead in the 16th minute.
Mark Little passed inside to Luke Freeman who found the bottom corner with a left-footed strike from 20 yards out.
However, it was Rochdale who went into the break the better side after Matt Done curled an effort just wide in the 39th minute.
The second half started as the first finished, with Rochdale knocking on the door with good chances for Done, Peter Vincenti and Jamie Allen.
The equaliser seemed imminent and it eventually came in the 57th minute when Ian Henderson converted from close range from a Done pass.
Henderson almost managed to grab all three points for his team in injury time but was denied by a fine save from former Rochdale loanee Frank Fielding.
