Rochdale boss Keith Hill has warned off agents attempting to secure trials for their clients at Spotland.
Hill has been active in the transfer market this summer, but he has suggested that he will not take any more players on trial before the end of the month.
"We're developing and it's encouraging. I look at our plan and I'm really happy with it. The amount of agents that I've had one the phone asking me if I want to sign this player or that player," he told PA.
"But I just don't see the point of any agent phoning up to recommend players because I don't feel as though I'd be doing the players justice.
"I've got to trust them and they've got to trust me with respect to our development as a team and as a football club for the future."
Rochdale currently sit ninth in the League Two table.
