Long-serving Roma captain Francesco Totti is reportedly considering hanging up his boots at the end of the current season.
The 39-year-old has been with Roma since 1989 and has made almost 750 appearances for the Italian outfit, scoring 300 times in all competitions.
The experienced forward has only netted once this term, however, after struggling to overcome a succession of injuries.
Totti did appear against Real Madrid in the Champions League earlier this week, but he was only given the final few minutes of the last-16 first leg.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Totti is seriously considering bringing to an end a glittering career this summer, when his contract at Roma expires.
The same report claims that the 58-time Italian international could be offered a role on the Roma board.
