Roma have been held to a 1-1 draw by bottom side Pescara at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome in Serie A.
The visitors almost stunned the former Italian champions after just 60 seconds when Ferdinando Sforzini got the better of their defence and fired towards goal, but his effort went over the crossbar.
Pescara continued to dominate in the opening minutes and took the lead in the 14th minute when Gianluca Caprari headed home from close range after Maarten Stekelenburg's save from Emmanuel Cascione fell to him.
Roma could have restored parity soon after had Alessandro Florenzi got the better of Ivan Pelizzoli at the near post, before Francesco Totti volleyed narrowly over from a corner.
The Giallorossi continued to create chances in the remainder of the first half and eventually equalised six minutes into the second, Mattia Destro turning home Daniele De Rossi's corner from close range.
Roma dominated the remainder of the second half at the Olimpico with Totti, De Rossi and Miralem Pjanic all testing Pescara goalkeeper Pelizzoli, but had to settle for a point.
