Rudi Gracia has insisted that there is no chance of Kevin Strootman leaving Roma in the summer transfer window.
Strootman, who missed out on a spot at the World Cup with Netherlands due to injury, has been repeatedly linked with a move to Manchester United, but Garcia is certain that the 24-year-old will be staying in the Italian capital.
The Roma boss told reporters: "Strootman is a Roma player, he will be a Roma player this year. There is no doubt about that.
"Only he can say whether he wants to stay but it was never an issue for him to go to another club. There is no question of it."
Roma signed Strootman from PSV Eindhoven last summer, and the midfielder went on to score five goals in 25 Serie A appearances before his campaign was cut short by injury.
