Roma have announced that they have signed Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Digne on a season-long loan deal from the Ligue 1 champions.
Digne, 22, had fallen out of favour under Laurent Blanc and was keen to boost his chances of making Didier Deschamps's France squad for Euro 2016 on home soil.
The Giallorossi also announced that they have the option to make the deal permanent at the end of his loan spell.
A Roma statement read: "The defender arrives from the French club on a temporary deal until June 30, 2016 in exchange for a loan fee of €2.5m (£1.8m).
"The agreement includes an option to make the move permanent ahead of the 2016-17 season."
On Wednesday, Blanc revealed that Les Parisiens had effectively wrapped up a deal for Monaco defender Layvin Kurzawa.
Left-back Digne - the same position as Kurzawa - made 21 appearances last term and had also been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.
