Ross County will be attempting to push away from the relegation zone this weekend when they welcome Hibernian to the Global Energy Stadium.
While the hosts have only won a single game this season, the visitors are flying further up the Scottish Premiership table, sitting just a point outside the European places.
Match preview
Ross County managed a top-half finish in the Scottish Premiership last season, but they are a far cry away from that right now as they sit 10th in the table.
Malky Mackay's men have only won a single match in their opening seven, which is something that they need to address sooner rather than later.
However, the Staggies are coming into this one following consecutive draws, showcasing the qualities to fight for results no matter what.
Ross Laidlaw was able to keep a clean sheet against St Johnstone during their previous outing, and prior to that they also shared the points with Aberdeen.
Now Ross County will want to step things up when it comes to their attacking abilities, particularly since they have only scored four goals this season.
That is a different story to what Hibernian have been doing across their first seven matches, as the Hibees already have nine goals to their name as a squad.
Three of those came in their most recent match against Aberdeen which they won 3-1 following a brace from Josh Campbell, as well as a goal by Martin Boyle.
The victory helped Hibernian climb up to sixth in the table, and with just two points between them and Edinburgh rivals Hearts in third place, a victory this weekend could see another big climb.
The Hibees will need to start improving their away form though, after winning only one of the three games they have played so far.
That solitary victory came back on the opening day of the season too, with back-to-back away defeats at the hands of Livingston and St Mirren since then.
Team News
Ross County are likely to display the exact same back four this weekend as they did in their most recent outing after keeping a clean sheet in that match.
Jordan White has been leading the line on his own as of late for the Staggies, and he is someone that the club could continue to rely upon this weekend.
When it comes to attacking qualities it is likely that Boyle and Campbell will continue to be used after scoring three goals between them in their last performance.
However, it is Mykola Kukharevych who is operating as the actual striker for the visitors right now with three attacking midfielders behind him.
Ross County possible starting lineup:
Laidlaw; Johnson, Iacovitti, Baldwin, Purrington; Callachan, Cancola; Edwards, Dhanda, Hiwula; White
Hibernian possible starting lineup:
Marshall; Cadden, Porteous, Hanlon, Cabraja; Newell, Kenneh; Boyle, Campbell, Youan; Kukharevych
We say: Ross County 0-2 Hibernian
Ross County have shown signs recently that they could be getting back to their best when it comes to the performances that they have been displaying, even if the results have not quite been what they might have hoped for.
However, the visitors have a lot more momentum behind them, and their attacking qualities should end up being the difference-maker.
