Chicago Fire have jumped above Columbus Crew in the MLS Eastern Conference with a 3-2 win over San Jose Earthquakes at Toyota Park.
The visitors took the lead through Alan Gordon's close-range header in the 14th minute, but Dilly Duka's left-footed effort levelled the scores in the 36th minute.
It stayed that way until half time but Patrick Nyarko put the hosts ahead for the first time just two minutes after the restart, with Duka this time turning provider.
However, Joel Lindpere turned the ball past Paolo Tornaghi in the 72nd minute to see parity restored.
With six minutes left on the clock, it was left to Chris Rolfe to slot home from yards out to secure all three points for Frank Klopas's men, who now go to seventh place.
Meanwhile, the Earthquakes remain eighth in the Western Conference, nine points above Chivas USA having played three games more.
