Sassuolo defender Federico Peluso is hopeful that Domenico Berardi will extend his stay with the club.
The striker took his tally to 14 goals in Serie A this season by scoring a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory over AC Milan this afternoon.
He is currently on loan from Juventus and is expected to return to his parent club in the summer, but Peluso admits that he would love for Berardi to extend his spell at the Neroverdi.
"He's a great player, he's young with all the numbers to prove his talent," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"He's ready for a big club but I hope he remains with us for another year."
Sassuolo are currently 13th in the Serie A table.
