Meanwhile, Kris Commons is given a starting berth in midfield alongside Celtic teammate Scott Brown, who has been passed fit.
Ashley Williams begins his reign as Wales captain in defence, while former skipper Aaron Ramsey is joined in midfield by Joe Allen, Joe Ledley and Gareth Bale. Steve Morison will lead the attack on his own.
