Seattle Sounders have eased past Colorado Rapids 4-1 at CenturyLink Field in the MLS.
Lamar Neagle gave Seattle the lead on the brink of half time when he tapped home after being picked out by Clint Dempsey.
Dempsey got his name on the scoresheet shortly after the restart, chipping the ball over Clint Irwin to double the Rave Green's advantage.
Six minutes later Dempsey made it 3-0, nodding home to score his second goal of the night and wrapping up the points for Seattle.
Rapids did manage to pull a goal back with with just under 30 minutes still remaining through Dillon Serna, but Seattle restored their three-goal lead courtesy of Obafemi Martins who cut inside and curled home to round off the scoring.
