Serbia international defender Branislav Ivanovic was pleased with his side's goalless draw with Scotland in their opening game of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign on Saturday.
Both sides failed to take their chances at Hampden Park in Glasgow, and eventually had to settle for a point apiece in the Group A fixture.
"It was a difficult game for us," Ivanovic told Sky Sports News. "Both teams had a good chance to win the game.
"Both teams wished and tried to win the game, that is why we saw an interesting game and a very difficult game with a lot of movement and a lot of runs.
"At the end of the day, we can be happy with a draw, because it is a hard away game."
Serbia will host Wales at Novi Sad in their second Group A match on Tuesday.
