Benat scored from two free kicks as Real Betis claimed a late victory at Sevilla this evening.
The home side took the lead in just the fifth minute when top scorer Alvaro Negredo finished low after a Piotr Trochowski through ball.
Federico Fazio should have perhaps made it two midway through the opening half but he headed Jose Antonio Reyes's corner just wide.
Reyes then dragged wide before Betis levelled with two minutes of the half remaining when Benat curled home a free kick.
Both sides pushed for a winner in the second period and it was visiting Betis who grabbed a second when Benat scored another free kick following a sending off for Sevilla's Gary Medel.
