Juventus were held to a frustrating home draw by Shakhtar Donetsk in Champions League Group E this evening.
The Old Lady fell behind to an Alex Teixeira strike midway through the first half and, although they found a leveller almost immediately courtesy of Leonardo Bonucci, the Italians were unable to find a winner.
Teixeira hit the net on 23 minutes with a powerful strike from 10 yards following Willian's clever assist.
Bonucci scored his first goal since April two minutes later to equalise for the hosts, who are now unbeaten in nine matches.
Juventus dominated the remainder of the half - Alessandro Matri and Bonucci both going close for the Serie A champions - but the second half was a wide-open affair and the game could have gone either way.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Willian spurned good chances for the visitors, while, at the other end, Sebastian Giovinco forced a good save out of Ukraine keeper Andriy Pyatov.
Juventus are currently third in Group E, which is led by Chelsea following their 4-0 win over Nordsjaelland FC.
