Convicted rapist Ched Evans has reportedly agreed a deal to play for an unnamed League One club and will be unveiled by that team this week.
The 26-year-old, who was released from prison in October after serving half of a five-year sentence following his 2011 conviction, has struggled to find a way back into football, with a selection of clubs, including former side Sheffield United, turning down the chance to sign him.
However, The Times claims that a League One team has secretly agreed a deal for the Welsh striker.
Evans had been linked with a move to Maltese club Hibernians, before his camp denied that they had offered him a deal.
The Ministry of Justice also stepped in, saying that Evans would not be allowed to resume his career overseas under the terms of his probation.
