Sheffield Wednesday are holding high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion to a goalless draw at the halfway stage of the Championship clash at Hillsborough.
Clear-cut chances were few and far between in the opening stages although the hosts almost took the lead on 17 minutes when Ross Wallace played a lofted pass to Jack Hunt, but David Stockdale pulled off a save to deny the defender.
Brighton struggled to create anything for much of the first half, but put the Owls under intense pressure in the 25th minute when Sam Baldock played a dangerous cross into the box, leaving Daniel Pudil to clear the danger.
The Seagulls ended the first period on the front foot as Solomon March fired an effort narrowly over four minutes before the referee's whistle brought the half to a close.
