Veteran defender Miguel Llera has returned to former club Sheffield Wednesday in a coaching capacity.
The 35-year-old Spaniard left the Owls during the summer after two-and-a-half years with the club to sign for League One outfit Scunthorpe United, but he will now divide his time between playing for the Iron and helping coach the Owls' academy.
Wednesday academy manager Dean Ramsdale told the club website: "Miguel is a quality coach, giving us further experience and knowledge in providing our academy players with the best possible coaching available.
"Just as important is the fact that he kids really respond to Miguel, he has a very natural way with them and that is a big positive for the academy."
Llera has made 11 appearances for Scunthorpe in all competitions this season.
