Sports Mole peers ahead to the Championship match at Hillsborough on Tuesday night as Ipswich Town try to win five games in a row by beating Sheffield Wednesday.

In-form Ipswich Town can complete a 100% record in September if they win their fifth consecutive Championship match at Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night.

Mick McCarthy's Blues have recorded victories over Millwall, Brighton & Hove Albion, Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United, scoring eight and conceding just one, to climb into the top six of the second tier and just three points behind arch rivals Norwich City at the top of the table.

They haven't won five league games on the trot since 2003 and, if they are to do so, they will have to overcome a fellow top-half side in Wednesday.

The Owls saw their three-game unbeaten run in the league come to an end on Saturday as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Cardiff City.

Still, they are just one point off the playoff places and will want to impress their home fans after winning just one of their four games at Hillsborough so far in 2014-15.

Kamil Zayatte is available for selection again after he was dismissed in the catastrophic second-half collapse against Manchester City in the League Cup last week.

For the visitors, McCarthy could hand Jonathan Williams his second Town debut after he re-joined the Suffolk club on loan from Crystal Palace.

If he is selected to start, it will be the Welshman's second straight game for Ipswich against Wednesday after his last appearance in his previous loan spell came against the South Yorkshire side in May.

Ipswich are unbeaten in their last three games against the Owls, winning their last contest 2-1 at Portman Road. The last two matches at Hillsborough have both ended as 1-1 draws.
