Sheffield Wednesday captain Glenn Loovens has extended his contract with the Championship side.
The 32-year-old's previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season, but he has now committed to the Owls until summer 2018.
The Dutch centre-back has made 77 appearances for the South Yorkshire side since joining them on a free transfer in November 2013.
This season he has turned out 19 times in the Championship for Wednesday, who have won four of their last five league games to sit just outside the playoffs in seventh place.
