Sporting Gijon will reportedly be without on-loan Roma forward Antonio Sanabria for the next six weeks after the Paraguayan suffered a thigh injury in training.
The 19-year-old, who has scored two league goals for Sporting this season, limped out of a training session on Thursday and a scan on Friday revealed that the teenager had picked up a thigh problem.
According to Marca, Sporting now expect to be without the striker for the next six weeks after a tear to his left quadriceps muscle was confirmed.
Sanabria, who has already made five appearances for Paraguay, started his youth career with Barcelona, but never appeared for the Catalan side's first team, moving on to Sassuolo in 2014.
