Bayern Munich made it six wins from their six Group B matches courtesy of a 3-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
Ryan Sessegnon cancelled out a strike from Kingsley Coman to leave the two teams level at 1-1, but goals from Thomas Muller and Philippe Coutinho handed the home side a comfortable win.

Bayern's team shows five changes from the side that started the weekend defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach. Javi Martinez, Ivan Perisic, Benjamin Pavard, Serge Gnabry and Philippe Coutinho all come in, with star man Robert Lewandowski among those to drop out. It appears that the hosts will line up in a 4-2-3-1 with Gnabry at the tip of the attack.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has made six changes to the side that started against Burnley at the weekend with Kyle Walker-Peters, Juan Foyth, Danny Rose, Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon and Christian Eriksen all coming into the XI. Lucas Moura will seemingly lead the line for the Premier League club, while Sessegnon is handed his full debut in attacking role.
Bayern recorded a 7-2 victory in the reverse match in London back in October, but this will be the first clash between the two teams in Germany since the 1983-84 UEFA Cup, where the home side ran out 1-0 winners. Kickoff at the Allianz Arena is just around the corner!
KICKOFF: Bayern kick things off on home soil...
... Bayern have made a very bright start to the contest with Tottenham being forced back from the first whistle. The German side have actually lost their last two Bundesliga matches and therefore it is important for them to pick up a positive result in this match.
Hans Flick is already out of his seat issuing introductions as Bayern threaten with the first free kick of the night. Kimmich delivers towards the middle of the box but Alderweireld clears.
Gnabry misses a huge chance from close range, but the offside flag had been raised and therefore it would not have counted. Some miss from the Germany international, though.
SAVE! Comfortable save for Neuer to keep out a strike from Ryan Sessegnon.
Again Gnabry finds himself in a dangerous position in the final third, but the attacker can only find the arms of Gazzaniga from his cross. Lively start to this European tie.
Not too much to report in terms of chances in the last couple of minutes, but Bayern are still in control of the possession as they look to work space. Gnabry is indeed through the middle as the lone forward, although Perisic and Coman are both high up the field for the hosts.
There is not too much of an atmosphere inside the stadium at the moment to be brutally honest. As mentioned, there is not anything substantial to play for in tonight's game.
CHANCE! Huge chance for Bayern to score as Perisic finds Pavard with a brilliant cross, but the defender sees his attempt saved by Gazzaniga before the Tottenham goalkeeper manages to deny Thiago on the rebound. First serious chance for the home side.

GOAL! Breakthrough! Bayern take the lead in the 14th minute as Coman collects a clever pass from Gnabry before carefully placing the ball into the bottom corner of the net!
Nothing from Tottenham going forward at the moment with Lucas finding it difficult to contribute as the lone striker. Eriksen has hardly been on the ball in the first 16 minutes.
Davies has been very bright for Bayern down the left early on, and Tottenham are just struggling to stem the flow of pressure at the moment as they cannot keep the ball.
Bit of possession for Tottenham in the last couple of minutes; Sessegnon finds space down the left before delivering towards Walker-Peters, but Boateng is on hand to clear.
GOAL! BAYERN 1-1 TOTTENHAM (SESSEGNON)
GOAL! All square! Tottenham level the scores in the 20th minute as a pass from Lo Celso is deflected into the path of Sessegnon, and the teenager strikes past Neuer from close range! Huge moment for Sessegnon on his first start for the club he joined over the summer.
Bayern have looked good going forward tonight, but there are obvious problems at the back. Tottenham now look dangerous every time that they break with pace and purpose.
CLOSE! Half-chance for Bayern, but Perisic heads wide of the post under pressure.
Looks to be a problem for Coman here. The attacker seemed to catch his foot in the turf when attempting to control the ball, and it does not look great for the Frenchman.
The replays show that Coman jarred his knee, and the look on his face said everything. Bayern are going to have to make a change, and that could be another long spell on the sidelines for Coman, which is a real shame when considering his injury problems.
BAYERN SUB! Thomas Muller replaces Coman, who was able to limp down the tunnel, which is excellent news when considering that the stretcher was ready to be used.
CLOSE! Lo Celso just misses the target with an attempt from distance.
Bayern look to have a golden chance to regain the lead as Perisic delivers towards Muller, but the attacker is penalised for handball. Little over 15 minutes of the first half remaining here.
SHOT! Gnabry sees his strike deflected wide of the post for a corner as the home side continue to threaten a second goal. Muller has immediately picked up the pace here.
Walker-Peters is having a tough night for Tottenham as the home side continue to force the issue in his area of the field. The defender could well have a yellow card coming his way soon.
Important defending from Kimmich to clear a low Sessegnon cross with Spurs threatening to score a second. Sessegnon has been Tottenham's best player in the first half, but the less said about the performance of Eriksen the better!
CHANCE! Huge chance for the away side as Sissoko breaks into the Bayern box, but the France international horribly over-hits his cross towards Sessegnon. Poor!
Bayern have another problem here with Davies as the defender stays down.
Davies appeared to take one in the face from Walker-Peters, but the defender looks fine to continue. Little under 10 minutes of the first period remaining at the Allianz Arena.

Little over five minutes of the first half remaining, and it must be said that this game has absolutely flown past. Nothing substantial is at stake tonight, but it has been a good contest.
OFF THE POST! Huge moment! First, Thiago curls one against the post from inside the Tottenham box, it falls for Gnabry, and the attacker somehow misses form close range. Wow!
Smart defending from Walker-Peters this time to clear ahead of Perisic as the attacker threatened to meet a deep cross. The home side remain on the front foot here.
Just a reminder that Bayern will finish top of the section whatever happens tonight, while Tottenham will be in second. The draw for the last-16 stage of the competition is on Monday.

GOAL! Bayern regain the lead on the stroke of the interval, and it had been coming. Davies saw his low strike hit the post, but Muller was in the middle of the box to tap home for 2-1!
OFF THE BAR! Incredible strike from Coutinho! The Brazil international has just had a shot tipped onto the crossbar by Gazzaniga's fingertips, some goalkeeping there!
HALF TIME: BAYERN 2-1 TOTTENHAM
So there we have it. The referee brings the first period to a close with Bayern leading Tottenham 2-1. Well, for a match that does not mean too much, it has been excellent in terms of entertainment value. Both managers will have taken something from the first half here.
STATISTICS! Bayern dominated the first-half possession with 61%, while they had 14 attempts, four of which were on target. Tottenham managed two attempts on target from four shots, with Sessegnon on the scoresheet for the English side. Just the one yellow card to report in the opening 45 minutes, which came for Kimmich following a body-check on Lo Celso.
BENCH WATCH! Tottenham have highly-rated teenage forward Troy Parrott on their bench tonight, while Wanyama, Son and Skipp are also among those available. Bayern have already been forced into a change with Muller replacing Coman, but the home side still have the likes of Lewandowski and Goretzka available ahead of the second period.

Mourinho can certainly take some positives from tonight's match, and Tottenham are far from at full strength when considering that the likes of Kane and Alli are absent.
You do get the feeling that there is at least one more goal in this match as Bayern continue to threaten. Tottenham, meanwhile, now have the threat of Son on the break.
