Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has admitted that he is unsure why the team are currently going through a bad spell of form.
This evening's 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen made it six games without a win in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino's side, leaving their Champions League qualification hopes in jeopardy.
However, Alli believes that the team are playing well and simply need to start taking their chances, having failed to score from open play in their last five outings.
"I don't think anyone can work out what is wrong. We are playing well but we have got to finish our chances and have got to keep going," he told reporters.
"Tottenham is a club looking to move forward. We have confidence in our ability. It is a matter of finishing off games and getting results. We are a young team but we expect ourselves to perform against anyone."
Spurs will look to return to winning ways away to Arsenal in the North London derby on Sunday.
