Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has praised Kazaiah Sterling and Luke Amos after deciding to hand the youngsters a chance in the first-team squad.
With Spurs having already won Group H, Pochettino will make changes to his team for the Champions League clash with APOEL on Wednesday night.
Neither player has made a senior appearance for the North London outfit, but Pochettino says that the pair both deserve an opportunity to impress.
The 45-year-old told reporters: "It's always our decision and when we've lost some players from the first team and need some young players, of course we know them very well and the contact is every day.
"But then when we need players to be involved in the first team, it's always a decision taken all together and of course, who deserves to be in the first team will be in the first team.
"Kazaiah and Luke Amos, they are working very well and they behave so good. That is why they deserve it, they have the quality as well in the position that we are looking to try to help the team tomorrow. We needed a midfielder, like Luke Amos, and another striker, like Kazaiah Sterling."
While Pochettino has admitted that he will rest the likes of Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane, the Argentine has revealed that Dele Alli will start the fixture at Wembley Stadium.
