Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has hailed the impact of substitute Iago Falque after Spurs drew 1-1 with Maribor on Thursday.
Falque came off the bench to provide the assist for Tottenham's equaliser and Villas-Boas has admitted that he thought that the Spanish midfielder did "extremely well".
Villas-Boas said: "He had an extremely good game. He had his first game against Carlisle.
"This is his second game against stronger opposition this season. He did extremely well.
"His performance made the link-up player better for us. He is a certainly someone we can count on."
The 22-year-old joined Spurs on loan from Juventus at the start of last season, before he made the permanent switch to White Hart Lane during the summer.
