Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has reiterated his praise for Gareth Bale and insisted that he can still improve.
The Welshman scored the opening goal in Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 victory at White Hart Lane last night, heading home from Gylfi Sigurdsson's cross in the sixth minute.
Stramaccioni stated before the game that Bale was fast becoming one of Europe's best players and repeated that belief in his post-match press conference.
"I had already said he was one of the most decisive players in Europe and his header was worthy of a seasoned centre-forward," Football Italia has quoted Stramaccioni as saying.
"He can still improve a great deal, is very young and can be decisive, which is the difference between a good player and a champion."
Bale is suspended for the second leg at the San Siro next week.
