How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday night.

Jose Mourinho's side booked their spot in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Wednesday courtesy of a 3-1 victory away to Championship outfit Stoke City.

Spurs have lost their last two in the league to Liverpool and Leicester City, though, and currently sit sixth in the table, six points off the summit.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up at Molineux.

Out: Japhet Tanganga (shoulder), Giovani Lo Celso (thigh)
Doubtful: Gareth Bale (calf)

Tottenham will again be without the services of Japhet Tanganga due to a shoulder problem, while Giovani Lo Celso has been ruled out of the festive period with the thigh issue that he picked up against Leicester.

Gareth Bale has also emerged as a doubt for the visitors, with the Wales international suffering a groin injury during the first half of the clash with Stoke in the EFL Cup.

Mourinho will make changes from the side that started against the Potters, with Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Sergio Reguilon, Moussa Sissoko, Steven Bergwijn, Tanguy Ndombele and Son Heung-min all in line to return.

Harry Kane, somewhat surprisingly, played the full 90 minutes in the EFL Cup, but there will be no rest for the England captain as he prepares to lead the attack again.

Harry Winks and Dele Alli will both drop out of the side, while Lo Celso's absence will allow both Bergwijn and Ndombele to feature in the final third of the field.
