Emmanuel Adebayor has been recalled to captain Tottenham Hotspur in their Capital One Cup semi-final first leg with Sheffield United this evening.
The Togolese striker has not started a game for Spurs since November and was booed by some sections of White Hart Lane when he came off the bench in the 2-1 win over Sunderland at the weekend.
However, he partners fan favourite Harry Kane up front against the League One underdogs tonight.
Mauricio Pochettino makes five changes to the side that beat the Black Cats, with Michel Vorm replacing the rested Hugo Lloris in goal and Ryan Mason back from injury.
Ben Davies and Andros Townsend also come in as Mousa Dembele, Danny Rose and Roberto Soldado drop to the bench, with Nacer Chadli missing out completely as he is on compassionate leave.
Sheffield United make three changes as they welcome back Chris Basham from suspension and Ryan Flynn from injury. Louis Reed also starts as Jose Baxter, Craig Alcock and Trey Kennedy are all removed from the lineup.
