Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has heaped praise on teammate Dele Alli following his performance in England's 3-2 victory over Germany on Saturday.
Alli once again stood out as Roy Hodgson's side came from two goals down to secure a memorable win against the world champions on a night that also saw Rose make his international debut and fellow Spurs teammates Harry Kane and Eric Dier both score.
Alli is now expected to be a key part of Hodgson's squad for Euro 2016 this summer despite having been playing League One football last season, and Rose acknowledged that snapping the youngster up for just £5m from MK Dons was a great piece of business from Spurs.
"He has set his standards very high. He is not fazed by any opponent or any team, he is a pleasure to play with," he told reporters.
"For Tottenham to nick him for £5m is a great bargain."
England are in action again on Tuesday night when they host Holland at Wembley.
