Eric Dier has expressed his delight after scoring on his debut to give Tottenham Hotspur a 1-0 win over West Ham United in the Premier League.
The summer signing from Sporting Lisbon found the net late on at Upton Park on Saturday as Spurs got their campaign off to a positive start.
When asked if he could have hoped for a better debut, Dier told Sky Sports News:: "No, to be honest I'd have been happy with a clean sheet. I wasn't expecting to go up the other end and score, so I'm really happy. I'd like to score more goals, but I'm happy just playing."
Spurs are back in action on Thursday when they travel to AEL Limassol in the Europa League.
