Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has said that striker Roman Pavlyuchenko must try harder if he wants to get regular first-team football.
The Russian international has slipped behind Jermain Defoe, Emmanuel Adebayor and Rafael van der Vaart in the striking pecking order at White Hart Lane.
"Hopefully he will come to life," Redknapp commented.
"Adebayor and Defoe have got fantastic ability, Van Der Vaart is top class. Pav, when he is up for it, can play, but Adebayor has got three goals."
Pavlyuchenko signed for Spurs from Spartak Moscow in 2008 for a reported fee of £14m.
