Tottenham Hotspur reportedly made an enquiry to buy Upton Park earlier this season.
The East London ground will be vacant come 2015 when West Ham United switch to the Olympic Stadium.
Spurs themselves were previously keen on the Olympic facility, but lost out to West Ham in the bidding process. However, the North Londoners responded to that by attempting to purchase Upton Park, which was rejected, according to Sky Sports News.
The report added that Spurs have also considered approaching the Football Association for the temporary use of Wembley to stage their home fixtures while their new stadium, which is due to open in 2017, is constructed.
