Tottenham Hotspur defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto has insisted that he is committed to the club, following his comments to France Football.
The 28-year-old had admitted that he could leave Spurs the end at the season "if a great club comes in", but he has refuted the claims.
"I want to take this opportunity to clarify some comments that have appeared in the media today. I am fully committed to Tottenham Hotspur and proud to represent the club in any match, whatever the competition," he told BBC Sport.
"I am very much enjoying my time here. It is a wonderful club with great support and I am looking forward to recovering from my injury in time for next season."
Assou-Ekotto has made 30 league appearances for the club this season.
