Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy reportedly held face-to-face talks with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura on Thursday regarding a January transfer.
The Lilywhites are considered the favourites to sign the 25-year-old, who has been told that he is free to leave the Parc des Princes this month after falling out of favour.
Moura is said to favour a move to Tottenham over Arsenal, Manchester United and a number of La Liga sides as he wants to work under boss Mauricio Pochettino.
According to France Football, a rumoured £23m switch has moved a step closer to completion after the Brazil international jetted into London to discuss terms with Levy this week.
Sao Paolo academy product Moura has gone close to three months since making his last Ligue 1 outing for PSG, featuring five times in all this campaign.
