Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for PSV Eindhoven.
Having signed a new contract soon after the arrival of Jose Mourinho, Alderweireld is tied to the Premier League giants until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
However, that has not stopped the Belgium international being linked with a return to the Netherlands, where he has previously represented Ajax.
According to De Telegraaf, PSV have identified the 31-year-old as a possible addition during the summer transfer window.
Alderweireld has remained as first choice for Spurs this season, making a total of 13 starts in all competitions.
Mourinho has five centre-backs at his disposal after bringing in Joe Rodon from Swansea City in October.
