Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes.
The 30-year-old, who has been unhappy with his lack of playing time this season, is understood to be seeking a move away from Italy in the summer.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made subtle enquiries, according to talkSPORT, as the club seek to add defensive cover at the end of the season.
Mexes has 23 French caps to his name.
