The Football Association have decided not to punish Stoke City striker Peter Crouch for an altercation with West Bromwich Albion defender Jonas Olsson on Saturday afternoon.
England international Crouch appeared to poke Olsson in the eye in an off-the-ball incident at the Britannia Stadium.
Referee Anthony Taylor failed to spot the incident, meaning that the FA had the right to review the clash.
However, Taylor informed the FA that he would not have sent Crouch off had he witnessed the event.
Crouch would have been facing a three-match ban had he been found guilty of violent conduct.
