Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has insisted that he is targeting more headed goals after equalling a Premier League record this afternoon.
The former England international scored as the Potters pummelled Liverpool 6-1 on the final day of the season, breaking Alan Shearer's record of 46 headed goals in the Premier League.
He told Stoke's official website: "I'm very proud and pleased to gain a new record and to some extent get it out the way this season. It was amazing to come on and do it in front of the Boothen End, which I know is a very special place here, and break the record.
"That's a highlight for me and hopefully there will be many more to come over the next couple of years. It was coming and I'm incredibly pleased to have got it, but I'm also a little embarrassed because it was all about the team performance today."
Crouch scored 10 goals over the course of the campaign.
