Stoke City striker Peter Crouch admits that he is disappointed that his side could not take all three points from their Premier League clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch is adamant that his side "deserved" to take all three points from their Premier League clash with Queens Park Rangers.

Mame Biram Diouf had put the Potters ahead after 11 minutes, but the visitors were pegged back by Steven Caulker just before half time.

After the break, Crouch restored his side's lead and it looked as though Mark Hughes's men would hold out for the win until Niko Kranjcar scored a late free kick to earn Rangers a point.

He told BT Sport: "To not win the game is cruel. I thought we were the better team. I thought we deserved to win the game. But at this level, one free kick is all it takes.

"I've seen him do it thousands of times in training. I said just before it, 'He is good at these.' It was a great free kick. But it is very disappointing and hard to take."

Stoke are 13th in the Premier League following their point at Loftus Road.
