Stoke City manager Mark Hughes believes that winning this weekend's clash against Aston Villa will be the best way to respond from their Cup exit.
The Potters were dumped out of the Capital One Cup at the quarter-final stage following a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in midweek.
"We were obviously disappointed to go out of the cup on Wednesday, but we have a chance to get over that disappointment straight away," BBC Sport quotes Hughes as saying. "If we can start well, and play to the levels that we have throughout most of the season, we should be okay."
Stoke are currently 13th in the Premier League table.
