Mark Hughes has claimed that Stoke City showed their ability to overcome adversity once again in the 2-0 victory over Everton at the Britannia Stadium.
An injury to Philipp Wollscheid inside the opening 15 minutes forced Hughes to make a defensive change, and he was quick to praise his side for adapting well as Victor Moses and Mame Biram Diouf secured the points.
"We had to rejig the back four once again which has been the story of our season," the Stoke boss told Sky Sports News.
"But once again the group of players didn't allow that to affect them. We've done that time and time again this year we've just picked ourselves up when things have gone astray.
"We've done tremendously and on the night, we just kept at it. Everton had a little bit if possession but they never created anything of real note."
Stoke have lost just one of their last seven Premier League games.
