Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has admitted that he is "under pressure" following a poor run of form.
The Potters lost their eighth Premier League game of the season on Saturday afternoon - suffering a 5-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur, which left the club down in 15th position in the table.
Stoke have won just once in the league since the end of October, and Hughes has claimed that it is only natural that he is under pressure due to his team's poor run of form.
"Today (Saturday) wasn't a good day at the office," Hughes told talkSPORT. "Prior to this, in the last six games we're in the top 10 for current form. So, it's what you want to make of it.
"When teams get beat a manager will come under pressure – that's how it is. When you win, the pressure goes away for a couple of weeks until you lose again. That's the reality of my position."
Stoke will look to bounce back from the disappointment at Tottenham when they travel to Burnley on Tuesday night.
