Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has claimed that Watford deserved each of their yellow and red cards in their Premier League fixture on Sunday afternoon.
Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri has criticised the performance of referee Bobby Madley, but Hughes has insisted that the official was correct in handing out three yellow cards and one red card.
The 53-year-old told the club's official website: "I thought the referee got every one of them right to be perfectly honest.
"They were clear fouls. I know the home crowd will always be a little bit vociferous about it but I don't think he got too many wrong in fairness."
Stoke won the game 1-0 thanks to an own goal from Heurelho Gomes.
