Stoke City striker Peter Odemwingie has said that the squad are refusing to set a points target after they beat Aston Villa 4-1 on Sunday.
The Nigerian scored on 22 minutes to equalise for the Potters, but the forward said that the side won't get carried away despite moving into the top 10 of the Premier League.
"We've set the target to beat the amount of goals we've scored the previous seasons," Odemwingie explained to Sky Sports News.
"We're not setting a points target though. The performance is the most important thing, we have 37 points at the moment. We're playing well and really enjoying it.
"Off the pitch, everyone has taken to me really well, I'm happy here."
Stoke host Hull City next weekend.
